DIY macro lens for iPhone 2G and 3G
In 2007 I made this macro lens for my iPhone 2G, from a Griffin cradle and some optics from an old Kodak slide projektor. After some testing with various distances between the iPhone lense and the Kodak lens, I glued it together with epoxy glue. It’s very easy to snap on and off, and I was pretty satisfied with it then. Before the iPhone 4 came along – and ruined it all :)
