FastCoDesign reports on a slick, new phone that makes it possible to…..call people and have them call you. And nothing else.
It’s brilliant! It’s aesthetic! It will make lots of people driven crazy by technology breathe easier, sort of like watching John Stewart and Bill Maher during the Bush Administration. But who will buy it? The same people that bought Helmut Newton’s $10,000 coffee table book? Probably not, but it’s actually a trojan horse for the design firm that created it, so who cares. It’s promotional Dada!
